- Beauty
and the Beast A horrendous beast turning into a Prince, two evil sisters turned
into statues, dark woods, a garden of roses and a magic mirror: all fantastic
parts of a tale, staged as a dream.
- There
once was a rich merchant who suffered the loss of his wife and adored his
three daughters. After loosing all his belongings, he wanders into the forest
to find shelter in a magnificent empty palace. At dawn, as he picks up a rose
for Belle, his youngest daughter, a horrendous beast appears and gives him
a choice of the death of one of his daughters or his own. Belle, the Beauty,
chooses to give her life.
